How to fix a sign blank with anti-rotational sign clips

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for securely mounting signs onto round posts using anti-rotational sign post clips. These clips are designed to prevent the sign from twisting or rotating, ensuring a long-lasting, professional installation.

🛠 Tools and Materials Needed

🔧 Step-by-Step Installation Guide

1. Bolt and Clip

  • Slide the square headed M8 bolt into the sign channel.

  • Offer sign blank up to the post

  • Slide or twist the clip into the rail and over the bolt

2. Washer and Nut

  • Place the washer over the bolt and then secure loosely with the M8 nut provided.

3. Sign Positioning

  • Measure your signs placement and check level

  • Using the 13mm spanner or socket, tighten the nut until it is nipped tight.
  • Repeat steps 1-3 with all remaning sign channels on the sign blank

4. Final Adjustment

  • Step back to ensure the sign is straight and properly aligned.

  • Adjust position if needed before fully tightening.

✅ Final Check

  • The sign should be level and firmly attached.

  • There should be no rotation or play between the sign and post.

📝 Notes

  • Always use clips that match the post diameter for optimal grip.

  • Anti-rotational clips are ideal for high-traffic areas or locations prone to wind.

For bulk installation projects, consider using power tools with torque control for consistent results.
